Angel is doing a poster contest. He was given 3 topics and is stuck on two of them. He wants some input so he can choose which one he will be doing. The two Topics are #1 Its In Our Hands and #2 A Portrait of America. Now remember since we are scrappers, he CANT use any stickers or crafting stuff, BUT markers, water colors, color pencils, and etc. His work has to be all hand drawn. The prizes that are up for grabs are 1st place: Nintendo DS Lite, 2nd place: $50.00 to Toys R Us GC, 3rd place: $25.00 to Toys R Us GC. SO PLEASE ALL THE HELP AND INPUTS!

and draw a picture of the earth....and put facts in there about global warming, recycling, reducing our footprint...etc etc etc..... he can find info here :

I was thinking that for #2 he could draw a variety of Americana items as a collage of sorts. I'm thinking of his favorite things such as sports, stores, clothing, etc. which are American origin.
You could infuse a melting pot of people's images along with it in all variations to show the variety that our great country is.

How about a globe in the background with Angel's hands and wrists traced over the sides of it and the words "It's in our hands" That's all that's coming to me right now. GOOD LUCK to him.
I have an idea. Hope its not to late though. Ok he could do a picture of a few people and draw them half and half. I mean draw a boy and make him white on one side and black one the other side. The white boy could have short blonde hair and red tshirt top, and the black boy side could have like dread locks. and basketball jersey top. Just a thought.
